Inspiration

We thought of a common problem in cybersecurity, but we realized that human error is the weakest point of cybersecurity so we created a solution that focuses on reducing human error.

What it does

It scans the image you are about to post/share and it notifies you if there are any identifiable qualities that may easily give away your location in an image, such as street signs, license plates or famous buildings.

How we built it

We built this program using Flutter, ChatGPT, and Github

Challenges we ran into

We couldn't get the app to run most of the time and we had little to no prior experience before doing this project because for most of our group, it was our first time at a hackathon. We also tried to make an experience in 8th wall, but we had no success so we instead switched to this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of knowing that we are capable of writing an app on our own and that we have tested the limits of our ability.

What we learned

We learned how to code in Flutter and Dart and we also learned a lot of teamwork skills and about different technologies through the sponsors.

What's next for DoxDetect

We hope to be able to make this project even bigger and obtain sponsorships from companies that this product may benefit, such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat
