Inspiration

Community organization called Montreal Birthing Companions have previously used an inconvenient method of connecting expecting mothers to birthing companions (doulas), using facebook and emails. We sought to build an online matching system.

What it does

It takes mother's information and doulas information, and allows doulas to browse and find a match.

How we built it

Using Meteor JS (a full-stack javascript framework), and git for version control

Challenges we ran into

Setting up everything from scratch with inexperienced team :)
