Inspiration

There are millions of dog/pet owners in the world. Many owners don't always know how to access the knowledge and are not always aware of the vast array of treatment and Petcare that is available for their dogs. Doughnut and Muffin wants to make Petcare easier, and more enjoyable,not only for the pets, but for the owners as well.

What it does

Doughnut and Muffin brings together a broad range of services, a supportive pet care community, insight and guidance into the nutritional,physical and emotional needs of dogs, and how it can be accessed from one interface.

How we built it

Doughnut and Muffin was built entirely on Google AI studio. The brainstorming was done on Gemini.

Challenges we ran into

The most difficult challenge I encountered,was creating Doughnut and Muffin on a mobile phone. It was also somewhat challenging to try to give the app structure and form by trying to think of what type of services and features will help dog/pet owners to effectively navigate this app and to provide information and insight that will contribute to the health and wellness of their dogs/pets

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really glad that I can participate in this hackathon and present a solution that will be of great benefit to many dog/pet owners across multiple regions

What we learned

I leaned that there is a vast array of services that are available to improve the health and longevity of dogs and that pet owners can make a great contribution in increasing the longevity and wellness of their pets , as they age, by equipping themselves with the correct knowledge. I also learners that it is possible to help solve a problem even if you don't have every answer to the problem.

What's next for DOUGHNUT AND MUFFIN

I look forward to expanding Doughnut and Muffin into a Lite version for kids so that kids can also be equipped with Petcare knowledge from a you g age, in a fun , enjoyable way. I would like to add more features and functions to make it more effective and usable for users. Adding a payment tier that caters for readers/users at different levels, so that every oet owner can benefit to some degree, would also be helpful. Having veterinarians, pet insurers, animal specialists.....list their services on Doughnut and Muffin would be great to add to the functionality and accessibility for the user's.....there is much that can be done to improve this app, but I am proud of what I could put together for now
