Inspiration

Healthcare data is fragmented across healthcare organizations, national healthcare systems, and even internationally. Despite an abundance of health data from wearables, medical documents, and other sources, there is no unified platform to consolidate and track all this information seamlessly. Additionally, interpreting complex medical information can be overwhelming for individuals, and having access to personalised medical guidance is limited. We envision a Digital Doctor that offers expert-level health insights, personalised care, and predicts the impact of lifestyle choices.

What it does

DoubleYou is an effortless health tracker that consolidates all your medical data while providing AI-driven, personalised healthcare insights. It comprises three core components:

Universal Information Processor An AI-driven medical document processor that securely consolidates health data from documents and images into a single platform. Users can upload all their medical information and maintain easy access to it.

Digital Health Twin and Healthcare Agents A highly accurate digital representation of your health that offers real-time insights and conversational healthcare assistance. This feature enables you to understand your health status better and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Future Health Simulator A future health simulation tool that forecasts potential health trajectories based on lifestyle choices and treatment options. It helps users explore future healthcare needs and understand potential side effects, all personalised to their health data.

How we built it

• Mistral API for AI processing
• Python for data handling and backend logic
• Figma for design and prototyping
• Next.js and TypeScript for the frontend
• Supabase as the backend database
• Prisma for efficient data management and integration
• Whiteboard for brainstorming
• Lots of caffeine..

Challenges we ran into

• Time constraints limited our ability to fine-tune our forecasting models on Nebius LAB servers.
• The unstable WIFI connection posed challenges during the build.
• We lost a team

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We met, conceived the idea, designed, and developed DoubleYou within 24 hours. Despite the ambitious scope, we managed to build a functional version of our concept. Proud of our ability to collaborate and turn an idea into a working prototype under tight time constraints.

What's next for DoubleYou

We plan to continue developing DoubleYou and add all the features we envisioned, particularly focusing on forecasting health stories. Especially to add the feature that simulate scenarios such as "What happens if my digital twin takes drug X vs drug Y?" or "whats the difference between paracetamol and caffeine, and paracetamol and coffee?".

We want to build DoubleYou to a point where we can regularly use it ourselves and explore whether it could evolve into a B2B or B2C business.
