Inspiration

Caryn.ai launched two weeks ago and got 15,000 virtual boyfriends paying $72K for it. Other influencers (both SFW & NSFW) would love to do the same, but there doesn't currently exist a super easy way to create an AI bot of yourself that can voice chat with your fans, and to charge your fans for it.

What it does

Upload some prompts and a voice audio clip of yourself talking. In just a few minutes, we create an AI clone of you that has your voice that your fans can voice chat with in Telegram.

How we built it

Python for the backend, Bubble.io for the frontend, GPT-3.5 API for the language model with few-shot learning, ElevenLabs API for text to speech, Deepgram API for speech to text

Challenges we ran into

It was hard making sure that the Language model could represent the vibe of the person -- we tried no-shot learning, few-shot learning, and even fine-tuned the API. Ultimately few-shot learning produced the best results with minimal effort expected from the creators / less edge cases.

Language models are too SFW, it’s hard to convince them to have fun personalities.
