Inspiration

Imagine a pet without the physical hassle. Inspired by apps like QQPets, Tabby Cats, and Shimeji with walking animated animals walking on the screen as well as Tamogatchi, Dot is a more minimalistic pet but learns from its owner's love and attention!

What it does

It's an entertainment app for a fun pet!

How we built it

HTML and JavaScript with SVG graphics

Challenges we ran into

Animating Dot's movements since none of us have artistic skills so we painstakingly found more subtle ways to animate and emote.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What's next for Dot

We can make more animations and reactions for Dot as well as other meters to alter his behavior and to use deeper machine learning. Additional funny things may be for Dot to mess with the user's browser when Dot is mad at the user.
