People with Alzheimer's Disease or other cognitive impairments may have trouble recognizing and remembering the faces of family and friends.
Whenever your doorbell rings, Door Identify takes a picture of your visitor and uses facial recognition AI to identify them among a database of friends and family (or mark them as a stranger). It then sends a push notification to your Android app and displays a profile of the person, ensuring a more comfortable encounter with your visitor.
Door Identify involves three components. First, a doorbell camera is triggered whenever a visitor rings your doorbell. Next, a cloud-hosted NodeJS server uses Microsoft's Cognitive Services to identify your visitor. Finally, a mobile app created in Android Studio fetches relevant data through HTTP requests.
