Doodle Duel

Inspiration

We all love scribbling and doodling so we thought it would a be a fun way to compete.

What it does

Doodle duel is a daily drawing game, where you can vote on other players daily drawings to climb the leaderboard.

How we built it

We used React/Next.js for the project itself and hosted the DB backend with Supabase and then hosted the frontend on Vercel.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into was incorporating the mobile version of the game, additionally the back-end data storing was difficult

We all learned how to make a project using React and next.js.

What's next for Doodle Duel

Add personal stats card (submissions, average Elo, best rank). Real-time live 1v1 battles using (WebSocket rooms). Add sharing for submitted artwork.
