Group travel planning is a complex cognitive process. Humans need to solve a complex Operation Research problem based on dynamic constrains imposed by each member, performing optimisation based on conflicting objective functions, in a memory constrained human brain.
We present a interface that would assist groups to organise their travel, and use our technologies to suggest potential solutions to the group to reduce the cognitive load, and increase the likelihood of reaching a consensus, thus making the trip.
Our target users are people who have time, some money, but have no idea of where to go.
We ease the cognitive load by providing a centralised location for all data. All parties' constraints and destination suggestions are listed on one page, and the service would provide additional potential destinations.
Users can comment, up/downvote on these partial solutions, until they reach a consensus. From there, they are forwarded to skyscanner to complete their purchase.
