💡 Inspiration
Donevia was created to solve a simple problem: most productivity apps feel overwhelming. They are cluttered, complex, and mentally exhausting. The goal was to build a calm, focus-first task system that reduces mental load instead of adding to it — a productivity app that feels peaceful, not stressful.
📚 What I Learned
This project helped me learn how to design and build:
Cross-platform systems (web + mobile)
Real-time sync across devices
Reliable notification scheduling
Recurring task engines
Offline-first architectures
Scalable data models
Monetization systems (ads + subscriptions)
Clean, calm UX design principles
🛠️ How I Built It
Donevia is a cross-platform app built using modern frontend tools and Firebase for authentication, real-time database, hosting, and notifications. It supports real-time sync, system-level notifications, recurring tasks, and cross-device consistency, with a scalable architecture designed for future growth.
🧱 Challenges
Key challenges included reliable notifications, cross-device sync, offline handling, recurrence logic, and maintaining UI consistency across platforms — while keeping the experience simple and calm.
🌱 Vision
Donevia aims to become a calm operating system for daily life — helping users focus, think clearly, and manage life without noise, stress, or overload.
