We want to change the way you donate to people/causes. All to often people donate to causes and have no clue where that money goes or who will actually be effected by it. Donerlife would change the way people view donating. We tell the stories of the people who you will be effecting and the doctors who need the money to help. We did the KPCB’s challange which was to figure out a way to optimize donating and support doctors who need funds to help in third world countries. Not only will you get background on the doctor that they money will be going to but also you would be able to track the person in needs progress. This brings a voice to people in need.

What it does

Doctors post pictures of their patients, and input data about each specific person’s problems/need for help People who wants to help, registers on the app and creates an account Person scrolls through cases, and decides to help a specific person out Person decides to donate, and presses donate button Person is directed to payment method Person is offered push notifications regarding that specific patient (be notified on any posts with patient’s name)

How I built it

We built an IOS app with swift. The frontend is built with Sketch

Challenges I ran into

Really making sure the importance of the app got across also making sure the told the doctors and patients story correctly.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud to say I felt like we could actually help people in need. It makes me feel good that people might want to donate after hearing all the insiprational stories for the patients.
