Inspiration
Donations are very commonly used financial service. A lot of transactions take place in this regard.
What it does
Donations received are publicized but remain private for the donor. The donor has the right to donate to others. It is decentralized since the authority remains with the donor.
How we built it
Using Solana, we tried to create a inter-chain messaging DApp which captures donations made from one party to another. Donations is a metadata which consists of sender account, receiver account, amount details. The account details will be hashed so that account details remain protected.
Challenges we ran into
Account details are to be made highly secure since they are very important and could be exposed to the general public.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learnt different blockchain concepts during the hackathon which was inspiring and beneficial.
What we learned
Blockchain concepts, encryption, creating a DApp and the exciting journey.
What's next for Donations
We can grow the idea towards managing more transactions. It can be made more secure since it contains crucial information.
