Inspiration
Original, we both had two different ideas. I had the idea of setting up a charity donation for climate change and my partner wanted to do a project related to tax refund. So we combined both of ideas into one.
What it does
It's a donation website, that helps collect donations towards helping trees.
How we built it
We used codepen.io to build our website.
Challenges we ran into
Neither of us knew how to do any sort of web development, so we it took us a long time to decide on whether to even do a website. We had a hard time deciding one what service we wanted to focus one, which made us fall behind in the beginning. But near the end, we finalized a decisions and got a decent website done.

What we learned
We learned to create a pretty good website using html. Which looks and works good.
What's next for Donate to save the world..
For the next steps, we would love to be able to develop an app. Which you could use to keep track of your donations. You would have your own virtual tree on your phone, which would grow little by little with more donations you make.
