I'm learning German, and the thing about flashcards is that if you just memorize the "base" form of a word, you're not getting all the information you need. You need to memorize, say, irregular noun plurals, verb conjugations, weird preposition usages, and all this other "baggage" that comes with the word. (Some of this information is called "principal parts", hence the name. It's not a typo!)
So here's a quick 'n' dirty flashcard app that crucially contains a toggle - you can choose to practice just your base forms. Or, hit the switch and you'll get to practice all that extra "baggage". Because to speak the language you need to know all that too! Don't sacrifice your principals, yanno?
I made this to try out React for the first time. The verdict? I hate it! I hate it so much! I wish I wrote this in Vue and went to sleep!
I also used the UI to test some CSS styles I've been tinkering with. I've needed to test them in the context of a real site - and this one worked great. I think this UI looks pretty clean, don't you?
