Inspiration

Young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina face a lot of problems. That’s why we have decided to try and create a project that’s going to solve more than just one problem. The problems we are addressing with our project are:

In order to be heard, the youth needs a way to express themselves but we don’t have a platform to do that.
In order to make a contribution in their local community, the youth needs a way to influence people but the stigma that all the youth are rebels prevents them.
In order to make a project, the youth needs a way to contact the authorities but they have a procedure to make us knock on the wrong door. ## What it does It allows young people to fully express themselves and learn new things. They are also able to write their stories (experiences, share advice, etc.). Also, it allows young people to talk on our podcasts about the issues they have encountered as young people so far, also share their stories and give the other young people the advices they wish they knew before. ## Challenges I ran into Everything was a challenge from the beginning. From forming a team, getting used to teammates, finding the idea, creating the prototype to writing the presentation. ## Accomplishments that I'm proud of Everything we have done so far. Our idea, presentation, prototype.. all of those are our accomplishments we are proud of! ## What I learned How to precisely create a project and how difficult that is. I also learned how to acknowledge the problem and create solutions. ## What's next for Don't Be Quiet Bringing the project to life.
