Inspiration

There is a lot of VR apps, some stores and collections exist but not in VR at this time (except VRone and oculus store).

What it does

This app will download an apps listing from my website, and then populate a VR world with them. You should then install or launch this VR apps (install need a noVR mode with googleplay).

How I built it

I've buid a sql on my website (jeuxm.fr) with my VR apps infos. Domu will download this list for the first run to download apps icons.

Challenges I ran into

My prototype work, but with few apps (8), I need to work it work for big data (>400apps).

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I could run the google playstore without confirmation by adding a store:// again http:// request

What I learned

I've learn a lot about local data storing (preferences).

What's next for domu

The mario style tube I use in my prototype is fun but not for big data. I think make building that have windows like icons. it's more adapt for a large list of app, and it could be done on an infinite map. My sql transmission need to be update, app by app isn't a good idea for large listing,I could pack it.
