The inspiration behind DominoVerse came from a common problem students face: sometimes, we don't even know what questions we should be asking.
Traditional learning platforms usually provide answers to individual doubts, but they often fail to highlight the hidden connections between concepts and the reasons behind repeated mistakes.
We wanted to create something beyond a conventional doubt-solving platform — a system that encourages curiosity, connects related questions, identifies possible learning gaps, and helps students develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorizing answers.
Inspired by the Renaissance spirit of curiosity, discovery, and challenging existing perspectives, we built DominoVerse to transform isolated doubts into meaningful learning journeys. One of our biggest challenges was transforming a simple student doubt into a meaningful network of connected questions rather than generating a random mind map.
Designing an interactive Question Universe with understandable relationships, clickable nodes, and explanations was technically challenging.
Another major challenge was developing the Diagnosis Lab, where multiple mistakes needed to be evaluated through competing hypotheses without making inaccurate assumptions about a student's understanding.
We also had to integrate personalized learning activities, answer evaluation, progress tracking, and dynamic reports into a single responsive website.
Finally, building everything as a standalone offline application without external APIs or a backend required careful planning, efficient JavaScript logic, and browser-based data storage.
