The domain name we decided to register was teentopia.online. This domain is the name of our upcoming organization run by teens, called TeenTopia. TeenTopia is a learning community for students of all ages. 
As the coronavirus pandemic rattled the world, our team noticed a discrepancy in the learning community. The spectrum of students in the learning community varies greatly. There were those who were relieved to have time off from school and did well in school already. But there were also those who struggled at home without the guidance of teachers. And then there were those who wanted to learn beyond the school curriculum. Many students don’t get recognized for actually being passionate about learning but don’t want to learn the same old school curriculum. Furthermore, they don’t have the resources to expand their learning. 
TeenTopia aims to work with students of all learning types. We will provide podcasts featuring in-depth discussions about topics that aren’t commonly covered, articles dissecting current events, resources to further their learning in quarantine, as well as some fun topics to enjoy being in quarantine. We also offer to tutor students who may be hesitant to reach out to someone around them for help because they are scared. Tutors that understand their situation, and are on the same journey as they are, can make tutoring easier and enjoyable, and reduce the hesitancy. 
Our team aims to continue this organization even after quarantine. In this day and age, the traditional school system does not work for everyone. TeenTopia aims to equalize the learning community to help students reach their fullest potential.
