Domain Creation

What it does

Just showing Best Domain Registered with Domain.com(AshlyssHacking.tech) Also Job Application Tracker using CockRoachDB for data storage.

How we built it

Using Domain.com and Github.io For Job Application Tracker I used Node.js, Express.js, Jade, CockRoachDB

Challenges we ran into

Using Domain.com the cart was not user friendly. Got confused on got a previous domain. No issue since it was one of the domain which I thought. Lack of Code Walk through for hello world app for CockRoach DB. There was exam till Friday. So I started on Saturday Morning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Able to create my first Node js backend app.

What we learned

Learnt how to register domain on Domain.com and features provided by them. Also learnt how to host the website on github too since had a custom domain provided by Domain.com Usefulness of CockroachDB in microservice and serverless architecture.

What's next for Domain Creation

Creating and hosting various projects including portfolio on the domain year round :) Also complete the job application tracker and put it in my portfolio.
