Our team wanted to develop a tool that would help Virginia residents make better decisions about purchasing homes in sustainable and nature-friendly neighborhoods, which would eventually foster better living practices and a healthy environment. We utilized programming languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript to build our tool. Our tool provides interactive elements (such as a map, a sustainability score bar) that help users analyze how sustainable and environment-friendly a neighborhood is, allowing them to determine appropriate housing options.
