DoggoProtect

Inspiration

In eighth grade, Valencia came up with this idea, winning second place in her school science fair. Now entering the Computer Science field in high school, she hopes that she will gain the knowledge to make her ideas a reality. With her best friends (who are also her best workmates!), Wafeeqa and Abhinav, they have improved the previous version of DoggoProtect. Our project aims to prevent domestic burglaries with a simple, friendly furry friend.

What it does

The DoggoProtect is an alert, smart robot dog that will prevent domestic burglaries, one of the issues facing the world. With its high tech face recognition, motion and sound detectors, methods of deactivation, subscription plan, protected insurance, and realistic design, not only will DoggoProtect protect your home, but it will also provide you with a furry companion!

How we built it

We have entered this Innovation Challenge in hopes to selling our idea and getting the funding needed to make our idea a reality! We strive to protect homes around the world, 100% guaranteed.

Challenges we ran into

One of the most prominent challenges that our team ran into was recording and editing the videos together. Though it may have took us a while to figure out and solve this issue, we are proud of our final result and hope that our audience will enjoy as well!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Each of our teammates are proud of our finishing product. We have grown together, both as friends and workmates, to create innovative designs. We are also proud of our visuals that we created for our project!

What we learned

As a team, we learned how to work together to create beautiful projects. Each of us contributed our ideas (Abhinav came up with the great slogan!!) to reach the final results. Our friendship and skills continue to grow deeper :)

What's next for DoggoProtect

With this Innovation Challenge, we hope to sell our idea to our audience. Also, as a team of computer scientists and an engineer, we will continue to expand our knowledge in our fields to one day, build our idea. We hope to market our product, get it out to the public, and change the world's security standards with DoggoProtect.
