Dogecoin recent fluctuations due to social hype (and Elon Musk influence)
What it does
It computes an indicator of the current hype level around Dogecoin, comparing it to the estimated value calculated from past hype levels.
How we built it
Using Flutter framework and Dart language.
Challenges we ran into
Not knowing much about the language and working with Twitter API for the first time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app is working, that's quite enough.
What we learned
A little bit about the framework and the language, NLP, and use of APIs.
What's next for Dogecoin HypePredict
We would like to try how well the prediction works when able to access more past and current Tweets, as the free version of Twitter API is quite limited.
