Inspiration I was interested in learning how to make an iOS app. Without any previous knowledge I wanted to build something that would be simple and allow me to practice many different functions. That and my adorable dog Georgia.

What it does This app allows the user to upload pictures of dogs with their names and attach ratings. It then saves these rating in a list that can be accessed later by the user.

How I built it To build my app I found tutorials on Apple's developing website and followed them to learn the different functions that make up Dog Tracker

Challenges I ran into I had the code working and running on my device however in an attempt to improve upon its readability created an error that prevented it from running again. With more time I feel I could have improved upon this and gotten it to work again. Another challenge I faced was with the time constraints I was unable to make my app save after being exited out of. This is something I hope to add to my code in the future.

Accomplishments that I'm proud that I created my very first iOS app and got to see it running on my phone. Before the hackathon I knew nothing about building applications or Swift so I am proud I was able to learn new skills and make something with them.

What I learned I learned how to code in swift and how iOS applications are created.

What's next for Dog Tracker I hope to improve upon my app making it save when exiting, and possibly making the interface more visually appealing.
