Inspiration
Both of the Developers of Doege play music and have stumbled into a common problem: If they are wanting to learn a song on the radio, but they don't know what note they are singing, they can't learn it. Doege solves that problem.
What it does
Doege takes in an audio clip, similar to Shazam, however, instead of returning the song that it is playing, it returns the note that the audio clip is playing.
How we built it
We built a prototype, where instead of entering an audio clip, we enter "Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti", and it returns the note that is associated with it, along with playing that note.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge that we ran into is coming up with an idea. We spent a couple of hours brainstorming ideas until we found something that we liked.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have a really good idea that I don't think many people would think of.
What we learned
We learned the basics of how to use Audio in repl.it. I didn't even know audio was possible.
What's next for Doege
We may develop the code further to actually take in an Audio Clip, and use machine learning to make the app more and more accurate.
