⚡ Challenges

Building DodoPrep required solving several technical challenges.

Educational content comes in many formats and qualities. We needed to create a pipeline capable of processing documents, videos, transcripts, and notes while maintaining contextual understanding.

Another challenge was grounding AI responses in student-provided materials to reduce hallucinations. We solved this using Retrieval-Augmented Generation with semantic search over vector embeddings.

Finally, designing adaptive learning required balancing personalization, response quality, and inference cost while maintaining a fast user experience.
