Inspiration

We were inspired by the power of Artificial Intelligent virtual agents to create a virtual human doctor that can alleviate your health concerns, schedule appointments, and prescribe medications!

What it does

DocVR allows users, patients, to speak with a virtual doctor in a fully immersive experience. DocVR keeps track of user prescriptions and appointments using Cockroach DB and a flask application.

How we built it

We used Google Cloud Platform's Dialogflow, Cockroach DB, Flask, and Unity XR.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Dialogflow and Git with Unity. Setting up text to speech for the virtual doctor was also challenging. Finally, creating a scalable SQL database through Cockroach DB.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Setting up Unity XR, creating a fully automated virtual doctor with animations, and using a scalable DB to store patient-doctor transcripts.
