DoctorTap

Inspiration

We got the idea after thinking about how much time we spend before an appointment at the hospital. We wanted build something that could enhance a user's experience at the hospital .

What it does

Our app has 3 core functions which allow the user to share their medical history with any new doctor that they are visiting. This information is stored within the app and can be shared by the patient using their QR code. This eliminates the need for carrying various documents that one might need when they decide to have a hospital visit. The second core function that our app provides is the ability to book appointments at their desired hospital. Using our application, users can also keep a record of their symptoms if any so when the time comes to visit a hospital it is easier to give an account of their health condition to their doctor.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't have the sufficient medical industry knowledge to implement related modules.

Designing an application that is simple and user friendly.

What we learned

We learnt how to take into account various use cases and got equipped with the designing process.

What's next for DoctorTap

We wish to implement a virtual pharmacy along with a payment portal.
