Medical Guardian

Inspiration

My mom is a paediatrician and she struggles with such problem at her work. She waisted a lot of time going through a website with the medicines and searching for essential information to be able to prescribe correct dose of medicine to a kid.

What it does

The app provides info about medicines, possibility to search for medicine fast, and to create a list with favourite items.

How we built it

We used popular technologies and developed it all night long, we worked all together as a team from consulting with doctor and the list with ideas till deploying application and doing presentation.

Challenges we ran into

• working from different time zones
• having a tight time frame
• resolving problems with Spring and ReactNative Building the crud method that would allow us to store favourites in the data base in the form of a table Learning new things we weren’t aware of previously

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked together, achieved great results. Being able to collaborate despite working in different time zones Working together to achieve to develop a product that we can be proud of.

What we learned

Learned more about the issues doctors face in the medical sector and figured out different solutions to the issue.

What's next for Medical Guardian

Other features that can implement: increase medicine data base, promote medicines from pharmacy companies, track prescriptions, QR codes for pharmacies.
