Inspiration
We are growing and developing as a generation that is aware of the rapid development of the world in today's information age. Many technologies and innovations that we have used and we feel compared to the previous generation.
Our inspiration can be fairly simple. Because we are used to today's technological sophistication, availability in accessing health services should be there. We have been thinking about this long before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred.
From that inspiration, we came up with an idea called Docsien.
## What it does
Docsien helped answer our inspiration. Previously, health services could only be obtained from visiting hospitals or clinics directly, with Docsien very helpful for us and other patients to achieve personal rights to freedom in obtaining health services.
Docsien offers a solution for citizens of the world who want to recover quickly from their illness, when they want treatment, they can directly open and access Docsien from the palm of their hand.
## How we built it
After we met each other and formed a team, we immediately started the ideation process. It doesn't take long, because the hackathon time is very short.
After getting an idea, we immediately divided each task. Ade took part in the design and writing, while Kania and Laz took part in the backend and frontend. We developed this Docsien into a prototype of a website/web app/mobile application that has the functionality to connect doctors and patients in seconds, schedule appointments with doctors online, and also get drug recommendations and reminders when to take medication.
Challenges we ran into
We are aware that while participating in this hackathon, there are several challenges that we face. One of them is the time zone difference between us. Two people reside in the same country, while another member lives in a very far away country. Feel the difference in hours. But the distant time did not dampen our enthusiasm in participating in this hackathon.
On the sidelines of working on the prototype, we also learned many things. How to combine several ideas from our respective minds and combine them into a whole idea, working together to prepare each other and complete the prototype that we are currently working on.
## Accomplishments that we're proud of
Since we are still quite new to the hackathon, we haven't been able to find any significant achievements. But at least we are proud because we have completed this hackathon even though the results may not be optimal.
## What we learned
We learned a lot in several things, especially in ideation and workmanship.
## What's next for Docsien
For now, it's got the very basic basic features of Docsien. But if Docsien is accepted as a champion and is ogled by investors, then we plan to add some important additional features and complement the main basic features that already exist.
