Inspiration

The idea for DocsHub came about from our frustration with existing document management systems. We wanted a solution that was more secure, transparent, and user-friendly. We believe that blockchain technology can provide these benefits, and we are excited to explore its potential in the document management space.

What it does

DocsHub is a decentralized application (DApp) built on the Aptos blockchain that provides a secure and reliable platform for storing, sharing, and managing documents. It leverages the power of blockchain technology to ensure data integrity, privacy, and transparency, making it an ideal solution for individuals and organizations seeking a trustworthy document management system.

How we built it

DocsHub is built using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies:

• Front-end: React, Vite, shadcn/ui + Tailwind CSS • Back-end: Aptos TS SDK, Aptos Wallet Adapter, Node-based Move commands

We chose these technologies for their ease of use, flexibility, and strong community support.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was integrating the front-end with the Aptos blockchain. There are currently limited resources and documentation available for building DApps on Aptos, so we had to rely on our own research and experimentation.

Another challenge was ensuring that the application was user-friendly and intuitive. We wanted to make it easy for users to interact with the blockchain without having to understand the technical details.
