Inspiration

The first thing that comes to anyone's mind when they discover some symptoms that might point to them being sick is - "Where's the nearest clinic?" DocLocator helps you do just that. Find the address of the nearest doctor, nurse or physician to your house.

What it does

This website helps you easily find whichever service you're looking up right at your fingertips. From a simple consultation to booking an appointment for physical therapy or even just taking care of your loved ones when they're sick, this service will help you find just what you're looking for when it comes to healthcare services.

How I built it

I built it entirely on HTML, CSS3 and a little bit of JavaScript integration. I used different API integration for login support. Along with this, the back-end will be incorporated at a later stage using databases and PHP.

Challenges I ran into

I built the platform from scratch by myself, so there were a lot of bugs that I had to rectify, such as the proper integration of the APIs for the login page and the status bar not animating itself for some pages.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am particularly proud of it's ease-of-use and how it is perfect for all screen sizes, so that you don't have to go around looking for a device you can access the site on.

What I learned

I learnt a lot from this project, such as the different API intergrations and statistical dubugging.

What's next for DocLocator

The back-end is to be designed to include the database, and an easy appointment booking feature will also soon be added to the website.
