We were inspired by the global needs of healthcare around the world, though the tools are accessible false information is everywhere and we aim to eliminate that.
What it does
DocBot uses an AI which can keep learning everyday to provide legitimate healthcare advice
How we built it
We built the app using python, flutter and dart
Challenges we ran into
While using the AI that we got from the internet which was about 3 years old, it had many bugs. And it took a long while to fix. Our app also kept crashing every minute due to overlapping widgets and took a very very long time to fix up.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
But we are proud that in the end we have a finished project that we can show, and which can also be updated later on for actual use
What we learned
We learn many things, this was actually some of our team member's first time using dart and it was crazy that we were able to learn almost everything in like 3 hours or less.
What's next for DocBot
We plan to deploy this as an app compatible for any device, which can be used by anyone to seek legitimate medical advice. We also have been thinking to try go global with out project and try to help underdeveloped countries suffering from healthcare problems like our own.
