Inspiration: What inspired this project is a deep sense of gratitude and conviction—Bitcoin has changed my life, and I owe much of my family’s well-being to it. After years of obsession, countless hours down the rabbit hole, and endless learning, I’ve come to believe that Bitcoin is more than a financial revolution—it’s a foundational tool for ushering in a new golden age for humanity. This project is about giving back. It’s fueled by the realization that Bitcoin is not a zero-sum game—every contribution, every idea, every bit of value added to the ecosystem makes the whole stronger. It’s a win-win for all of us. The more we build, the more we all thrive.

What it does: Do4btc is a Bitcoin Value Catalyst an interactive, gamified platform built to harness the collective intelligence and passion of the Bitcoin community. It’s driven by a simple but powerful question: “What can you do for Bitcoin?” In a world where attention is fragmented and value often goes unnoticed, this platform acts as a dynamic ideascape—a visual universe where ideas to improve Bitcoin come to life, grow, and gain traction through real support, powered by the Lightning Network.

The Problem We’re Solving: In Bitcoin’s decentralized world, some of the most powerful ideas never see the light of day. There’s no central gatekeeper to amplify what matters most—and that’s a good thing. But we still need a way to surface the best ideas, give them visibility, and energize them into action.

Our Solution: A Marketplace of Ideas Fueled by Sats Do4btc turns insight into impact: 1. Spark an Idea – Users submit answers to “How can we add the most value to Bitcoin?” Each submission becomes an Idea Node. 2. Explore the Ideascape – These Idea Nodes aren’t just static posts—they’re living, interactive bubbles drifting across a dynamic visual space, inviting exploration and curiosity. 3. Energize with Sats – Users “vote” by sending sats to the ideas they believe in. One satoshi equals one vote. The more sats an idea receives, the more it grows and stands out. 4. Collective Curation – Through this “proof-of-support,” the most resonant ideas rise to the top—not because of algorithms or gatekeepers, but through real community belief. 5. Fueling the Future – Over time, the sats collected can be transparently distributed to top ideas or their creators, transforming votes into actionable support. (The MVP at the conference will focus on submission, voting, and visualization.)

How we built it: Technology Stack: chatgpt & Gemini as CTO advisor. Cursor AI for development environment

Next.js frontend and API, Supabase backend, TailwindCSS for styling, and Lightning Network integration via onenode (or a similar service), ensuring speed, scalability, and Lightning-native UX.

Challenges we ran into: I do not have a programming background so I ran into every problem as I went from computer illiterate to literate. Breaking my project and having to rebuild more time then I care to mention.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: the site mostly works!!!! I am most proud to have have created something that has the potential to help Bitcoin.

What we learned: Programming is hard on many levels but when aligned with one’s values it is infinitely rewarding. With the help of AI tool this ability is accessible to anyone.

What's next for Do4BTC: Find the best things to add vaule to BItcoin and provide exposure, funding and connection for people trying to help.
