Inspiration

My project was inspired by research showing that malicious code can be encoded into DNA, presenting a novel cybersecurity threat.

What We Learned

I learned how to merge bioinformatics with cybersecurity to validate genomic data and prevent dangerous code injections.

What it does

DNA Sentinel validates DNA sequences, converts them into binary, and scans for malicious patterns to protect sensitive genomic data.

How we built it

I built the solution using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap to implement multi-layered security checks on DNA sequences.

My main challenge was balancing robust security with a user-friendly design while ensuring accurate detection of malicious patterns.
