Inspiration

All work and no play makes people boring. We were searching for serious ideas to work on, but when we couldn't agree on what to do, we decided to go with a DJ app.

What it does

DJ Tillu is an AI web app that controls music based on the crowd emotions. It access the camera, analyzes emotions using Gemini Image understanding, and choose the right song to play next.

How we built it

For this fun project we used google gemini, bolt, weave, and audius. Browserbase was helpful to scrape the data required by our app.

Challenges we ran into

There were several places where we were stuck with vibe coding. We had to debug the code ourselves at a lot of spots.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We didn't imagine it to be this good when we started out. Our first app was totally different.

What's next for DJ Tillu

Some bug fixes, suno agent integration (which did not work), and shipping out to the civilization.
