Inspiration

The Northern Capital is a city where Western-style knights and mechanical alchemy technology coexist.
Beneath its prosperity, an emerging dark force grows stronger.

Driven by the concept that “every shining civilization hides a sacrifice,”
we aimed to visualize the eve of a grand battle — the moment before everything collapses.

What it does

This is a cinematic short portraying the crisis striking the Northern Capital:

• The resurrection of sealed skeletal soldiers and a massive whale-like monster
  
• Flamings streets and civilians fleeing in terror
  
• A knight charging forward atop a white tiger
  
• A confrontation between an old soldier and the Bride of Bones inside the castle
  

It balances emotional storytelling with epic scale through purely visual narrative.

How we built it

• New creative challenges introduced in:
  
  • The white tiger knight sequence
    
  • The final mechanical castle battle sequence
    
• Careful adjustments in camera motion, lighting, and composition

Challenges we ran into

• Controlling mounted knight action and large-scale creatures simultaneously
  
• Maintaining the sense of massive scale of the mechanical castle
  
• Avoiding visual breakdowns in crowd scenes
  
• Ensuring the final battle conveys personal emotional conflict, not just destruction
