Dividend Distribution Servicer

This Soroban Smart contract delivers dividends to all addresses that hold a specific asset. A dividend amount is placed in the smart contract and then distributed pro-rata to holders of the asset.

Inspiration

Our company, Block Time Financial, (BTF), issued our Friends and Family Series Seed funding round on the Stellar blockchain as a Proof of Concept for a legal, regulatory-compliant securities offering. The offering includes the possibility of dividends being paid. We said, "Let's make a smart contract to distribute the dividend!"

What it does

The Soroban smart contract take a deposit, (the dividend), and distrubtes it to all the holders of a specific asset in a pro-rata manner. In this case it will be the BTF series seed preferred asset, BTFp, on the Stellar classic blockchain.
