Inspiration
We were inspired by the theme of validation and were interested in finding a way to express that the LGBTQIA+ community is validated.
What it does
It's a website that holds a directory of organizations and resources to advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
How we built it
We prototyped the website on Figma and then coded it using CSS. We couldn't get it finished using code but the prototype is fully fleshed out.
Challenges we ran into
Time management was an issue because the three of us had busy schedules and could hardly find times to be on together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a working prototype of the website and also raising awareness for the LGBTQIA+ community.
What we learned
We learned that you really only get whatever you put in, so the more time spent the better the product.
What's next for PrideMakers 2021
Keeping up with the closing panels and seeing the beauty of everyone's work.
