Diversity Bridge

Inspiration

Children from minority background specifically of black and hispanic have very few resources of meeting role models in the tech industry. We want to solve the problem of increasing the number of black and hispanic people in the tech workforce by the year 2040 using Diversity Bridge. This will enable mentors who have similar background and also are in the tech industry mentor and teach mentees in areas of interest in the realm of software development and computer science. We hope this can spark interest amongst youth to proceed into technology later in their lives.

How it works

Two seperate logins with one for mentees and another for mentors. The web application connects the two parties with an algorithm that figures out which mentor is suited for a particular mentee and vice versa.
