Inspiration 🔥

So, my inspiration was apps like Facebook, twitter, and other social media apps. Since, the hackathons' theme is related to traveling and meeting new people, culture and traditions, I thought why not make an app to support this? and also connect with the community.

What it does 🧑‍🔧

It allows the user to upload posts and festivals for new travelers who want to explore things to know about their culture, festivals, and traditions

How I built it 🏗️

I built it using sweat and blood (jk) using flutter, firebase, dart, and vs code (GitHub).

Challenges I ran into ⛔

There are many challenges, I am taking part in 3 hackathons, exam-a-thon, which I have tomorrow, makeathon-5, for which I had to make another project, and hack-around-the-world-2, and I really enjoyed making this, tbh, I'll use this myself ;)

Accomplishments that I am proud of🏆

I am really proud that I got to know more about flutter and ui designing, also I have used greenish color here because every time I use blue color and it looks kinda weird, so I thought why not experiment with the greenish color? also, I made this app in around 10 hours while managing the other hackathon and preparing for the exam the day after.

What I learned 📚

I learned a lot, especially time management, more APIs about firebase, and learning more fundamentals about design.

What's next for Diversify 📈

There are many things that I plan to add in the future like:- 1.)Completing part of the weekly challenges. 2.)Connection with travelers you are interested in. 3.)AI mechanism to provide you with posts according to your interests. 4.)And many more... that makes my head overwhelmed.
