Inspiration

High-signal insights often strike on the move, but distributing them creates immediate friction: opening five separate platforms (X, Threads, LinkedIn, Substack), manually reformatting for character ceilings, prompting generic LLMs, and generating visual banners. I wanted an autonomous system where I can drop a raw stream of consciousness or voice note and have an agent orchestrate the entire distribution loop end-to-end.

What it does

MitroAgents is an autonomous personal distribution partner powered by the Strands Agents SDK:

  • Zero-Overage Enforcement: Customizes platform-native copy and strictly enforces hard ceilings (280 characters for X, 500 for Threads, 3,000 for LinkedIn). If content exceeds limits, the validator engine trims cleanly at natural sentence and phrase boundaries without breaking thoughts.
  • Voice & Persona Grounding: Ingests personal tone profiles, anti-patterns, and past winning hooks from memory to prevent generic corporate jargon.
  • Automated Multi-Channel Dispatch: Stages validated posts directly to the Buffer API for scheduled social publishing and automates long-form draft creation on Substack via Playwright.

How I built it

  • Strands Agents SDK: Drives the core agentic reasoning loop and tool execution.
  • Python & Gemini Flash: Handles rapid, persona-aligned drafting and hook engineering.
  • Buffer API & Playwright: Manages scheduled publishing across X, Threads, LinkedIn, and browser-automated Substack staging.
  • Pydantic: Enforces strict schema limits, platform rules, and data validation.

Challenges I ran into

Enforcing non-negotiable character ceilings without cutting sentences awkwardly was tricky. I built sentence-boundary trim logic into the validator tool so the agent never cuts off mid-word while remaining 100% compliant with platform limits.

What's next for MitroAgents

Adding direct Telegram audio note ingestion and integrating Strands MCP tool providers to generate automated Remotion video assets from draft hooks.
