The "Distant Hand" concept originated as an experiment on Snap Spectacles .

It's fun playing with AR superpowers in your own personal paralel reality, but it's even more fun to share the excitement. That's what's possible with the multi-user version of the lens.

The lens is now a game which is unlike a regular multi-user shooting game. There's not a limited amount of lives you can lose, you can keep on playing as long as you wish. But your sight will diminish when you've been hit by the distant hand of the other player.

In a multi-user set-up you can try to sync the player and the AR visuals and the playing field, but in theory this one can be played from a distance. And even though you don't see each other, you see the lively movement of the distant hand coming from your opponent that might be residing in a different space.
