What Inspired Me

Coming from being a single Father and also a low-income environment, I’ve seen how the credit system traps people—especially single parents, young adults, the elderly, and people who are just trying to do better. I used to help clients fix their credit manually, one by one. It was tiring, and the system felt designed to wear us down.

Then I realized... what if I could build an AI that knows the laws as I do—and never sleeps?

That’s how DisputeAI was born. An always-on legal AI agent that finds credit report violations and generates dispute letters using FCRA, FDCPA, and CFPB guidelines. I wanted something that could scale, help people take back power from the credit bureaus, and finally offer a real solution for the people.

How I Built It

I taught myself AI automation, no-code tools, and coding over the years—from YouTube, Google, Codecademy, and straight trial and error. This project was built using:

  • 🧠 Langflow to create custom AI agent logic
  • 💾 Supabase for storing user credit report data securely
  • ✉️ Twilio + Email API for sending dispute letters and reminders
  • 🗂️ Make.com for automating workflows like report review + agent generation
  • 🔐 FCRA/FDCPA/CFPB data embeddings to ensure legal accuracy
  • 🎨 Custom UI inspired by Framer/modern SaaS dashboards
  • 🧩 React with wallet integration for crypto-based future support

This is a true blend of AI, automation, and the law—turned into an experience that even a non-tech person can use.

What I Learned

  • The power of agentic workflows and how AI can handle real legal logic with the right data
  • How broken the credit system is—and how much people need automation just to keep up
  • How to translate legal rights into action using AI tools
  • How hard it is to build something this ambitious solo—but also how possible it is if you don’t quit

Challenges I Faced

  • Finding legally accurate data for FCRA/FDCPA/CFPB and breaking it into usable AI knowledge
  • Building trust into the system—AI can’t just “sound right,” it has to be legally right
  • Creating a UI that feels modern but empowering, especially for people who’ve never fought back before
  • Time. I’m a single parent, entrepreneur, and founder trying to make all this happen with no VC, just hustle

What’s Next

  • Launching an open beta to get real user feedback and improve the AI agent
  • Building a legal partnership network so users have access to real help when needed
  • Blockchain integration for privacy and transparency
  • Educating users through TikTok, YouTube, and workshops on credit, law, and AI

Final Words

DisputeAI isn’t just a hackathon project. It’s a mission. We’re fighting back against financial gatekeeping—one AI agent at a time. Let’s help people fix their credit, learn their rights, and build real power.
