Problem : The most crucial issue with user generated content is it’s moderation. The user generated content can include anything ranging from violence, hate speech or even sexual content. All these things are inappropriate for the regular audience to see and must be filtered A lot of users face the issue of seeing adult content in videos. The videos which children also view and that can have a bad effect on them. Since the user generated content is a mass produced. It becomes very difficult to filter each video manually and separately. Also the user generated content are sometimes very undescriptive and contains very less information about the content it has According to a survey, people also find descriptive content related to the video really helpful which almost every video does not provide.
Solution : Providing the users with a automated way to cover the adult content in the video. The platform automatically covers or blurs the video and mutes or beeps the audio on certain abusive languages. The platform also provides an automated text which describes the whole video and gets updated as the video progresses.
Obscenity Detection The contents of the video are thoroughly scanned and processed to search for any adult scenes. This is done through computer vision and then accordingly blacking/blurring of that content.
Profanity Detection The audio throughout the video is searched and processed for any abusive languages. This processing of audio is done through speech recognition and then beeping accordingly the audio where the profanity was found.
Adding a Description The video being watched by the user is processed and an automated and short descriptive text is added to that video to be viewed by the user. It solves the problem of users to watch a bit of the video to know what the video is related to.
Real Time Translation While reading from a screen, so much is lost in translation when real-time body language and facial responses cannot be considered , so, we will also provide real time language translation for the viewers. This will greatly increase the content and therefore enables the content creators to create for a large audience.
Additional Gains The user would be given smart recommendations according to his previous search history. The user will be prompted the videos to his interest and value.
