Dishcovery

Inspiration

We came up with the idea for Dishcovery because we’ve been focusing on fitness and health goals and wanted an easy way to find recipes that align with our specific nutritional needs. Many existing recipe platforms focus on general meals, but we wanted to build a tool that helps users discover meals that fit their dietary preferences and nutritional goals. By making nutrition more accessible, we hope to empower users to maintain a healthier lifestyle in a way that is simple and sustainable.

What we Learned

We learned how to work as a team, use React for the first time, and successfully deploy our project.

How it was Built

We built this utilizing React, Spoonacular API, Github, VSCode.

Challenges

It was difficult to figure out how to set up our project and manage the workload initially, as well as figuring out how to successfully deploy it.
