Inspiration
We wanted to be able to make a specific street view map of the city of Williamsburg while adding attractions that people tend to overlook, such as the Hearth Memorial. A monument in the city which represents the years of pain slaves had to endure before being recognized as human.
What it does
The map lets you discover different attractions in Williamsburg by pressing a button.
How we built it
The app was built using JavaScript and a Google Maps API to make an Apple app.
Challenges we ran into
We had a hard time inputting the AR and street view features.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing the project, meeting all the people, and learning so much!
What we learned
We learned how to use Blender, make an API, chatbot, and AR simulations.
