The need for a good group discord music was realized when the COVID-19 quarantine hit and we were all online together longing to listen to music together.

We got the bot to run on AWS rather quickly
What I learned
In the making of Music Boiyo, we learned how to use several APIs in python, such as the Discord, Youtube, and Spotify APIs, as well as the ffmpeg library. We also learned about (and struggled with) various issues that arose from the way Python implements asynchronous functions with multithreading.
What's next for Discord Quarantine Music Bot
For the future, we plan to add more commands that Music Boiyo will respond to, such as $song and $volume.
