Inspiration
We were inspired by all the things that we've seen others have been able to do with discord bots and thought we should try to do something on our own.
What it does
Not much yet. It can identify new users, show their current inventory and let them gamble the money they have. We are hoping to do more with what we've got in the future, now that we know how to use git and github more effectively.
How we built it
We sat down, brainstormed a bit about what we wanted to do, and then spent most of the time playing around and figuring things out.
Challenges we ran into
We didn't know how to get the token and intent discord.py api stuff to work properly and our test bot wasn't working properly at first.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have some very rad looking sprites which are self-made.
What we learned
We know how to use git/github and the discord.py api a bit better now.
What's next for Discord Bot Game
Want to add storage of user data, lootbox feature and combat next. Quite a long list really.
