Inspiration
inspired by LightGuide
What it does
This is a coop game that requires interperson verbal communication to solve puzzles One person is using LightGuide technology as a command center to solve problems seen by the other person in AR. Each person needs to describe what they see to figure it out.
How we built it
We worked with mentors from LightGuide to figure out communication from the technology into Unity.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled a lot with networking the different devices. It was a major accomplishment to send and receive meaningful packets of information from LightGuide that were interacting with objects in our Unity game.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created some cool interactions in the LightGuide technology, including a circle of light that changes color and follows your hand. As stated above, we were personally very excited to communicate between our technologies.
What we learned
A lot of networking and how to use LightGuide software.
What's next for Disaster Management
It's really basic as far as graphics go, it was all we could do to have any interaction between components. It could use an art upgrade.
