What's next for DIRTY BLOODS AI TRAILER

๐ŸŒŸ MY JOURNEY: THE HOLLYWOOD DREAM ( INSPIRATION )

I am Pasan, a 20-year-old filmmaker from Sri Lanka, with a singular dream: to become one of the world's best filmmakers. This entire project was powered by incredibly limited resources: a 12-year-old, broken, discarded laptop and a Vivo Y93 mobile phone.

For years, the lack of crew and funding stifled my 1000+ film ideas.( its mean countless) Then, I found AI, which became the light for my dream. I invested my last $40 into this film. Winning this competition is crucial for acquiring the essential equipment to continue this journey.

โณ The Challenges & Sacrifice

  • Image Generation: 12-20 hours per day (for 3 days).
  • Video Generation: 12-22 hours per day (for 4 days).
  • Non-Stop Editing: I worked for 22 consecutive hours on the edit. The app crashed 3 times,My phone was slow and lagged while syncing scenes and music but I refused to give up. I utilized every resource possible to complete this submission.

๐ŸŽฌ SYNOPSIS: DIRTY BLOODS TRAILER ( MY PROJECT )

The story is set in the 1980s golden era of US cartels. Nico, the son of a gangster, is pushed to the edge when his father murders his mother. Nico takes revenge and joins the rival gang to destroy his father's crew. The trailer captures Nico's struggleโ€”a devastating battle between mercy and violenceโ€”as he attempts a final act of redemption to save a mother and daughter.

๐Ÿง  WHAT I LEARNED:

Through this project, I learned:

  • How to manage AI and editing apps with low-power resources (like my old laptop and Vivo Y93).
  • How to achieve realistic output from AI tools.
  • How to maintain the flow and music sync while editing the trailer.
  • The importance of hard work and dedication to a dream.
  • The most important lesson: For someone with a dream, vision and discipline matter more than high-powered equipment.

URGENT CORRECTION-MUSIC/AUDIO CREDITS ๐Ÿšจ

Please note an unintentional oversight in the final submission.

SFX (Sound Effects) Clarification: The Sound Effects used in the trailer, such as gunshots, car screeches, etc., were utilized from the CapCut Library. These SFX are not restricted for commercial use.

Music Source Clarification: The background score/music used in the trailer is 100% Original and Created by Me (Suno.ai). The mention of "CapCut Music and YouTube Audio Library" in the final credits was an unintentional error and has been submitted incorrectly. I saw it after submitted!

Final Assurance: I affirm that the music is 100% original and does not violate any copyright or commercial usage rights.

I sincerely hope the esteemed judges will understand this unintentional oversight and recognize the dedication behind the production of the 'Dirty Bloods' trailer.

Behind the Edit: 115+ Hours on a Broken Phone

Here are some screenshots showing the CapCut timeline. Editing the complex SFX layers and video clips was a major struggle due to the phone constantly lagging. It took extreme effort to sync the timing. This is proof of my dedication to film!
